Pool Room

Wadhurst, East Sussex
This pool room had a water stained ceiling plus uneven plaster work which being a light room you could see all the ripples, bumps and roller marks due to the light bouncing from the standard matt emulsion, we thoroughly prepared and used Johnstone’s Perfect matt emulsion which has a very low sheen level giving you the illusion of a perfectly flat ceiling.

The walls had hairline cracks throughout amongst other imperfections, after all the prep the walls were finished off with Dulux trade goose white.

Woodwork finished in Johnstone’s pure brilliant white eggshell.

Kitchen Rescue

We got called in to rescue this new kitchen in Tunbridge Wells, the decorator had basically slapped the paint on, using no primer and leaving thick brush marks all over the units, not painting the inside of the doors or the framework and leaving a mess over the floor and under the work tops….apparently he was only there for a total of 6 hours!!
we stripped it back, filled and primed then our expert decorators hand finished the units to perfection using Little Greene Basalt Intelligent Eggshell on the main units and Little Greene Slaked Lime on the island.

End of Summer

It’s been a long time since we last added to our feed…more to come soon.

Summer 2020 has been a strange one and we count ourselves very lucky to have kept so busy and to have worked at some beautiful locations. Here is one of our last exteriors in rural Wadhurst, East Sussex. #heartofsussex #ruralsussex #sussexcounty #preparationdedicationperfection

Feature Wall

Creating a feature wall can not only break up a room to make it 'less boring' but when done correctly can enhance and make a bold statement bringing the area to life with vibrancy though relaxing at the same time, an effect which is sometimes very hard to create.

This room was wallpapered with Designers Guild Caprifoglio panels and Designers Guild matt emulsion on the remaining walls.
